The HXGN-40.5 Gas-insulated AC Metal-clad Ring Main Unit (RMU) uses low-pressure SF6 gas as the main insulation medium. It is a new-generation switchgear designed for power reception/distribution, offering control, protection, measurement, monitoring, and communication functions for both normal and fault conditions in power systems. It has broad application prospects in green new energy grid connection, distribution system upgrades, and overseas rail transit projects.

Product Features
- Safety & Reliability The high-voltage components of this switchgear use low-pressure SF6 gas as the insulating medium, sealed in a stainless steel housing to isolate from the external environment. This effectively prevents contamination, moisture, foreign substances, and other harmful impacts, enhancing insulation reliability while offering excellent anti-aging and anti-corrosion properties.
- Compact Structure Adopting mature vacuum switch technology with stable breaking performance and long service life, the arc extinguish chamber is horizontally arranged in the gas-filled housing. This fully leverages the excellent breaking capability of the vacuum interrupter, ensuring a compact structure, superior performance, and high reliability.
- Maintenance-Free Using inner cone cable plug-in technology, cables, arresters, and PT can be connected via plug-in for stronger insulation. The gas box features a dual-chamber design: one chamber for the three-position switch and main busbar, and another for the circuit breaker unit, supporting one-key sequential control.
- Easy Installation With solid insulated busbars, this gas-insulated switchgear eliminates on-site SF6 gas handling issues (e.g., vacuum pumping, gas filling, moisture treatment) during installation and operation expansion, enabling convenient field installation.
- Intelligent Configuration Equipped with intelligent control and protection units, it monitors the operating status of circuit breakers, three-position disconnectors, energy-storage springs, and gas pressure in the gas-filled housing. It controls the opening/closing of circuit breakers and operation of three-position disconnectors, achieving relay protection automation.
