Drop-out Closed Surge Arrester

A detachable enclosed surge arrester connected in parallel with the protected electrical equipment can limit lightning overvoltages and switching overvoltages on the electrical equipment, thereby protecting the high-voltage electrical equipment from overvoltage damage.

The detachable enclosed surge arrester has its live parts not exposed, effectively preventing grounding and short-circuit faults caused by external objects connecting to it, and meeting the requirements for high insulation, safety, and weather resistance. After the surge arrester bracket is installed, the surge arrester can be installed and replaced from the ground via an insulated operating rod, significantly reducing the cost of surge arrester installation, emergency repair, and replacement, and reducing the difficulty and risk of the operation.
