Maao 220 kV Transmission and Substation Project
220 kVSUNENG supplied selected electrical products and components for the Maao 220 kV transmission and substation project.
Project context.
The Maao project combines a new 220 kV substation in Xiushui County with transmission connections to Yejiashan and Xinning substations. Maao is equipped with two 180 MVA main transformers, two 220 kV outgoing bays and four 110 kV outgoing bays. Each remote-end station received one additional 220 kV outgoing bay.
The completed Yeao route is 30.162 km long, including a 0.25 km cable section. The Ningao route extends for 73.577 km. Their corridors cross hills, fields and river valleys, with shared-tower sections approaching Maao. The photographs show transformer installations, station equipment, tower connections and the different line settings.
