Zhengzhou Maolin 110 kV Substation & Lines
110 kVSUNENG supplied selected electrical products and components for the Zhengzhou Dayingbei (Maolin) 110 kV substation and line project.
Project context.
The Dayingbei (Maolin) 110 kV project is located in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone. Its first-phase installation includes one 63 MVA indoor main transformer, two 110 kV circuits and two 5 Mvar capacitor banks.
The 4.35 km connection includes 1.65 km of double-circuit overhead line, 2.5 km on mixed-voltage four-circuit towers and 0.2 km of cable. The upper 220 kV circuits on the mixed-voltage section are reserved and were not connected at either end in this phase.

- One indoor main transformer and 110 kV GIS equipment.

- Mixed-voltage tower section
- 2.5 km on towers carrying the project's lower 110 kV circuits.
- Cable section
- 0.2 km, including the cable-to-overhead transitions.
- 220 kV provision
- The upper circuits are reserved, with both ends unconnected in this phase.
- Construction and commissioning
- Construction started in April 2025; commissioning took place in June 2026.
