GCS Low Voltage Draw-Out Switchgear
Product Overview
The GCS device is applicable to power distribution systems in industries such as power plants, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textiles, and high-rise buildings. In highly automated venues like large power plants and petrochemical systems requiring computer interfacing, it serves as a low-voltage switchgear assembly for power distribution, motor centralized control, and reactive power compensation in three-phase AC systems with 50 (60) Hz frequency, rated working voltage of 380V (400V)/(660V), and rated current up to 4000A.

Product Features
- The frame is constructed with 8MF open-section steel, featuring Ф9.2mm mounting holes on the main structure with modular pitches of E=20mm and 100mm, enabling flexible and convenient assembly.
- The functional compartments of the switchgear are fully isolated, including the functional unit compartment, busbar compartment, and cable compartment, each serving independent roles.
- Horizontal busbars are arranged flat behind the cabinet to enhance their resistance to electrodynamic forces, a fundamental measure ensuring high short-circuit withstand capability in the main circuit.
- The cable compartment is designed for easy top/bottom cable entry/exit.
- Drawers are modular in height (160mm increments), with fixed width and depth dimensions. Drawers of the same functional unit are fully interchangeable, supporting rated currents up to 400A.
- Drawer panels clearly indicate positions (On/Off/Test/Withdrawn) and are equipped with mechanical interlock devices. The drawer units combine withdrawable and fixed functions, allowing flexible configuration.
- The cabinet’s protection rating is IP30/IP40 as standard, with custom options available upon request.
Product Details & Applications

Operating Conditions
- Ambient Air Temperature: -5°C to +40°C, with a 24-hour average ≤+35°C. Derating operation is required when exceeding this.
- Indoor Use: Altitude ≤2000m.
- Relative Humidity: ≤50% at +40°C; higher humidity is permitted at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20°C), with consideration for condensation risks due to temperature variations.
- Installation Inclination: ≤5° from vertical, ensuring the panel lineup is level (complying with GBJ232-82).
- Environmental Requirements: Free from severe vibration, shock, and corrosive conditions that may damage electrical components. Note: For applications exceeding the above conditions, please consult our company for customization.
