Project context.
Bohai Port No. 1 substation serves the Huanghua port industrial area in Cangzhou, Hebei. The 110/35/10 kV station installs two 50 MVA outdoor main transformers together with indoor GIS and switchgear.
The project includes a new 110 kV bay at Xigong 220 kV substation and associated line reconnections. The new connection segments total 1.016 km, combining 0.118 km of overhead line with 0.898 km of underground cable.
Electrical scope
- Transformer arrangement
- No. 2 and No. 3 outdoor main transformers, each rated 50 MVA.
- Outgoing circuits
- Two 110 kV, six 35 kV and sixteen 10 kV circuits.
- Reactive compensation
- 3 Mvar and 5 Mvar capacitor banks for each main transformer.
- First line segment
- 0.118 km of overhead line plus 0.168 km of cable.
- Additional cable segments
- 0.354 km and 0.376 km of new cable; conductor sizes include 800 mm² and 630 mm².
- Upstream connection
- One additional 110 kV bay at Xigong 220 kV substation.
